The restaurant seems to be under new management. I did not recognize anyone working there any more. I ordered some Sweet and Sour pork and Black bean noodles (Gan Ja Jang). The deep fried pork pieces were harder than I remembered, and the noodles were a bit too salty for my taste. The service was still great. It will still be my go-to Sino-Korean restaurant but I might check it out again later to see if the rating needs to be updated.

I don't care for Chinese food so when my friend suggested eating here, I was on the fence. I was first introduced to Korean-Chinese fusion when I was in Korea and served Jajangmyeon (noodles in a black bean sauce). I enjoyed this dish, but I wasn't sure what else Korean-Chinese food entailed. However, I'm glad that we organized our supper club mEAT here. In a large complex, there is a lot of parking on site. As it's right on Steeles Avenue by Yonge Street, there is also the option to take public transportation. They only take reservations the day before, but they were helpful on the phone explaining the menu. The table has a Lazy Susan to accommodate the family style dining format here. There were six of us so we went with one of the set group menus. For the price that we paid (approximately $30 per person), we were served a lot of food. I found the food to not be too greasy. A lot of the dishes had a lot of vegetables and seafood.
Good for: Korean-Chinese -

Came here because of a jajangmyun craving and I heard it was the best place in the area, and I completely agree!
A regular bowl of jajangmyun was only 6.99 but some of the other types (seafood, fried) were 8.99 which is still extremely cheap. The bowl was pretty big even for the regular one, and I had to pack home half of it. Usually I don't like how leftover jajangmyun tastes but it was still awesome!
My friend had the jjampong, which I'm not usually a fan of but it was actually pretty good here too. It was also really cheap ($8.99). They have other items on the menu like Korean sweet and sour pork, which has a small option at $13.99 (I think) which I will definitely come back to try.
The service was pretty slow, but I'm not sure if it's because we had an awkward seating spot that was a bit hidden. It's hard to complain when it's so cheap and yummy though! -

This is a Chinese-Korean restaurant. Came here for the signature Ja Jang Myun dish "black bean noodles" It also comes in family style sizes as well, we opted for the 3 people portion which was more than enough for 5 people. I don't usually eat these noodles but they make it pretty good here. Also got the sweet and spicy chicken which was also good, not too spicy. The dumplings and chicken fried rice. The chicken fried rice taste really good with the black bean sauce!

This is my go-to spot for jjajang myun in Toronto, and honestly, the taste is up there.
Only problem is it really does make you feel greasy and heavy after eating, but there are no better places for black bean noodles in Toronto...that I've found.
When I visited Korea I compared the black bean noodles to here, and I honestly preferred this place everytime for TASTE. The delivery black bean noodles in Korea didnt make my tummy ache however.
Make sure to eat these noodles with the onion and it'll help offset the greasyness!
I recommend takeout so you can use half the sauce for the noodles, and refrigerate the rest to mix with rice the next day!
